Chapter: Nickname: Founded: Founded Locally: Philanthropy: Flower: Colors: Famous Members: The Delta Beta chapter of Phi Kappa Tau creates an environment that facilitates campus involvement and academic excellence and empowers quality men to make a difference in the lives of others through service while simultaneously building strong friendships. Delta Beta strives to uphold the ideals of the national fraternity as set forward in its ritual, and it provides a unique experience to life during and after college. The goal of our organization is to aid each member in finding absolute brotherhood on his journey to become the Total Man. We pride ourselves on the strong brotherhood that we have shared for 38 years at the University of Evansville. We are a brotherhood that is committed and loyal to each brother, chapter and fraternity. Along with our commitment to each other and our fraternity, we are committed to our school, to our community and to helping others. Annually, our chapter raises money for the Association of Hole-in-the-Wall Camps for terminally ill children. Money is raised through our main philanthropic event, Leggs, a talent competition held in early September. Our members are active in many intramural sports and campus organizations, and they hold various campus leadership positions. Brothers also participation and support other Greek organizations’ philanthropies. Our fraternity is unique in that our brothers are constantly challenged to be the Total Man, a unique membership development program. This program benefits our members by challenging them in a variety of areas, including scholarship, service, career preparation and physical health. Our focus on character and fellowship has made this brotherhood one of the strongest, both on campus and in the nation. We welcome you to become a part of the strong brotherhood of Phi Kappa Tau. Phi Kappa Tau believes that not only should brothers help strengthen the chapter but that the chapter should also help strengthen the brother. |
